Toastmasters is a non profit organisation, hence the fees are very low and the benefits very high. On joining a Toastmasters club your immediate goal is to reach the level of Competent Toastmaster (CTM). To qualify as a CTM you will be required to complete a Basic Communication and Leadership manual which contains ten speaking assignments each dealing with specific aspects of public speaking. You may proceed at your own pace.

Yes, it takes practice and effort, but the banishment of nerves and knowing that you can get the job done better than ever makes the effort well worth it.
