Solar panel voltage can vary from 12V to 24V depending on the light energy received. A charge controller is vital to ensure that the voltage applied to your deep cycle battery is kept constant at 13.8V otherwise the battery is likely to suffer damage.

Inverters

So now you have a fully charged 12V deep cycle battery. To convert the 12v to 220VAC you need to connect an inverter to your battery.

We suggest that you select an inverters capable of generating
1500 watts. This will allow you to run a computer, TV and a number of low energy lights.
