UPS Concept
The Inverter
passes AC mains 220V power from the Mains power plug to the
devices to be powered. During this time the battery charger is
able to charge the battery. When the power fails the inverter
switches to battery power in 10 milliseconds and continues to
draw power from the battery until exhausted or switches back to
mains when power is restored. This switching is generally
referred to as an Auto Changeover switch.
